Privacy and personal data
Your personal data are considered confidential. We use them according to regulation, namely the Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data and regularly evaluate any legislative changes related to personal data and privacy.
What personal data do we collect?
According to its Status, the Czech Society of Actuaries (further on as "the Society") maintains list of its members. This list contains (for each member of the Society) first name, last name, birth date and e-mail address, which is also required as username for Society's website users. Furthermore, the list contains information about membership in the Society and can hold also any other information provided optionally by the Society's members or website users.
What do we use your personal data for?
The Society is a professional guarantor for its members working in insurance or related industries. In relation to this mission, your personal data can be provided to 3rd parties under conditions stated in the Status of the Society. Stored data can be also viewed by other Society's members; you have an option - to show or hide your personal information in your user profile, go to your account settings where you can change or delete your data, with exception of data which are required by the Status of the Society.
